Bridge on Romshi awaits completion since 2014

A vital bridge over Romshi Nallah connecting south Kashmir’s Pulwama district with central Kashmir’s Budgam district got washed away in 2014 floods. The government started to rebuild the bridge, however, since then it missed many deadlines but the completion of the bridge is yet to be completed. Locals alleged that the work on the bridge is going at snail’s pace and have requested to LG led administration to speed up the work. However, the construction company says that they have to complete the work by the end of this year and will complete it before time.
