On Thursday evening citizens from all walks of life came together in a different protest rallies and candle marches against terrorism, in Southern Kashmir districts . The demonstrations aimed to condemn the recent terrorist act that claimed the lives of innocent individuals ,Amrit and Rohit in Srinagar Saida Kadal yesterday evening. The protest aimed to advocate for peace, unity, and justice.
The protest, which included civilians, youth, traders, civil society members, and social activists, showcased the unwavering resolve of the South Kashmir to stand united against acts of violence and terror. Participants fervently waved banners and placards bearing slogans such as “United Against Terrorism: In Memory of Amrit & Rohit” and “Strength in Unity, Defiance Against Terror!”
Mudasir Dar , a Social Activist ,who was one among the participants leading the protest emphasized the importance of solidarity and collective action in combating terrorism and promoting peace. “Today, we stand together as one voice against the forces of terror that seek to divide us,” said Dar. “Our unity and resilience are our strongest weapons against such heinous acts. We demand justice for the victims and call for an end to senseless violence.”
